Keder are the simple yet ingenious solution for creating stable, flat and large-scale presentations, indoors and outdoors. The mechanism is also used, among other things, for tents, tarpaulins, in the agricultural sector, for temporary buildings and roof structures.
Many centuries ago, it was discovered that two different materials could be joined together by making a channel in fabric and then passing a rope or stick through it.
The word originates from European nomads, who used this technique for their tents. A keder can thus be defined as a fastening mechanism. The materials might be high-tech and very different today, but the technique remains the same.
